Activity 4 - What are stakeholders?

Learning Intention:

To understand what stakeholders are and their position

Background Information:

There is a lot of plastic in the oceans not just nurdles. To try and make a difference you are to come up with a personal action. A personal action is something you can do in your own life to do your part to solve a wider problem.

A personal action can be as simple as you choosing to not buy anything from the supermarket that uses plastic packaging, on the extreme end this man wears all the rubbish that he produces in a month as an incentive to limit the amount of rubbish that he uses. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9vCstrZ7ilk

Part 1:

Now brainstorm some personal actions that you could do. Next, you are to choose a personal action that you think you would be able to complete in your own life, write out the different effects this may have on the wider problems.

Part 2:

Now that you have chosen your personal action, there are a lot of people that may be affected by your personal action, these people are called stakeholders.

You are to come up with a list of possible stakeholders.

Next, you are to create a mind map of the different ways one stakeholder may be affected by your personal action.
